Friday, September 2, 2011 at 02:21PM I’m thrilled to be getting in touch with you today.
The news I’m sharing is close to my heart, and I hope you’ll take a few moments to read this short note.
My dear friend Gabrielle Bernstein’s second book, Spirit Junkie: A Radical Road to Self-Love and Miracles, is being published by Random House September 12. It’s part memoir and part road map: Gabby shares her journey toward becoming the full-on, inspirational Spirit Junkie that she is today, and she teaches her readers every lesson she learned along the way.
Check out the Spirit Junkie trailer ( http://gabbyb.tv/) for a taste of what’s in store. And visit Gabby’s website ( http://gabbyb.tv/) to learn more about her and watch some of her short vlogs.
The New York Times Sunday Styles section called Gabby a “a new role-model”—because that’s exactly what she is. Gabrielle’s positive energy is infectious! I’ve marked September 12 on my calendar, and I hope you’ll pick up your own copy of Spirit Junkie when it hits the shelves that day.
COME & MEET GABBY BERNSTEIN
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 15th in Fairfield at 7pm
To secure your tix visit www.catchahealthyhabit.com/spiritjunkie
P.S. Sign up for Gabby’s free weekly vlogs ( http://gabbyb.tv/landing-page) about happiness, self-love and spirituality—you’ll receive free meditations and her Expect Miracles lecture when you sign up.

Monday, August 8, 2011 at 06:36PM You would think that I (Glen) eat a 100% raw food, right! Well at one point in my life I did. I loved every minute of it. Tons of smoothies, fruity ones, green ones & superfood injected ones. Some juice but not alot, salads in waves, lots of nuts, nut milks, nut-o-la, nut pate & nut cheese. As the saying goes "eat too many nuts & go nuts. Well NUTS I went. Around November of 2010 I allowed some cooked food back in to the diet. Some cooked grains, veggies & pasta's here and there. It made eating out with family and friends easier
and less combative.
How did I feel during this time? My energy was not always as high, some constipation, overall not a big shift, no hospital visits... Then Lisa Wilson, founder of the Raw Food Institute, invited me to participate in
RAWGUST a 30 Day Raw Food Challenge where you pledge to go 100% raw (or as close to it as you can)
Well I am RAW again. So Far August 1st to August 8th all RAW and feel great! That included a my 42nd birthday with a Ice Cream Sundae at Pure Food and Wine!!!!
What do I notice: Better movements!!!!! More energy!!!!! Better sounder sleep!!!! Better s_ x!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Join me & many others and go RAW FOR THE REST OF AUGUST!!!!!!
